Some links on this site can earn us a commission. This page says which ones, how much influence that buys, and how to tell the difference yourself.

How this directory is funded
Two ways. Paid listings, where a product buys a clearly labelled sponsored slot for a fixed period; and affiliate commissions, where following a link to a provider and subscribing may pay us a referral fee at no extra cost to you.
Most listings are neither. The large majority of the directory was compiled editorially and earns us nothing at all.
What a commission does not buy
It does not buy inclusion — a product cannot pay to be listed that would not have been listed anyway. It does not buy a higher position: the directory is ordered alphabetically inside each category, and that order is generated, not curated by revenue.
It does not buy a rating, a review, or a badge. Reviews come from members and are moderated by a person; they cannot be bought, and they cannot be removed by the product being reviewed.
How to identify a paid placement
Sponsored slots carry a visible label on the card itself and are marked rel="sponsored" in the HTML, which is what search engines require and what any browser extension can read. If a placement is not labelled, it is not paid.
Affiliate links
Where a link to a provider is an affiliate link it is marked rel="sponsored" in the same way. The price you pay is identical whether you arrive through us or type the address yourself.
If you think something is off
Tell us. Email dc556316@gmail.com with the listing and what looks wrong. A commercial relationship is not a reason to leave an inaccurate entry standing, and we would rather correct it than defend it.
